Annies Death Door

Mmmmm....? This has got my mind, Annie needed a door to pass through so a death must occur, right? Ok... so why is this? The spirit of the man in the wet suit who was "sent over" during the Spiritualist's show passed through a door without a death (he also died in a non- natural way) so how does that work? Is it only opened without a death if the spirit grants forgiveness in the same manner as the wet suit man spirit? Any ideas folks???? Do you find this valuable?

The door appears when the spirit/ghost has resolved their issue which actually keeps them on that plane.
As seen when the door first shows for Annie when she haunts her ex-fiancee.

If they refuse the door and beat the gatekeepers/death, then their needs to be a seperate death for a door, i suppose.

I had thought this but its something thats never really addressed. The door is both an offer and a demand, Most people who practice a form of " Spirit removal" give the impression they are doing it to put the deceased at rest however if it is the choice of the spirit to stay happily and without malice then it is not the living's buisness to force them onward but it tends to happen. Annie's complaint of being tired and willing to move on through Kemp when he came to the house echoed her dismay at no longer being flesh but her reluctance to then take the offer when it was forced through the death of the medium begs the question why? Is it just fear or not wanting to let go of all that she knows?
now that she has been taken it will be interesting to see if and how she will return.

just saw the episodes and an seems confusing to get a door the "soldier" showed her how to have a door arrive by turning on electronics and left it to her if she wants to go she has the choice now

and if she gained anything from the aura reading she should have noticed that old priest was up to no good

then an episode later she wants help to move on its like the writers don't even watch the past episodes

i too like the show i like many shows were i find minor inconsistencies that pick at me

if she really wanted to leave she should have gone and found the psychic and tried to sneak through a white door when any spirit had a resoloution

but i suppose they need to have a next season story arc and just having "head vamp" come back woudl have been weak so they have to throw in a few stories trying to get annie back (meeting new psychics and ghosts)probably ending up her coming back just in time to be the deus ex machina to get rid of the "head vamp" like she did with the priest

i figure their universe has the light door and the dark door and both want annie but the dark door is trying to get her before she does something truly redeming the light door as usual is not as visibly proactive
