SPOILER ALERT.
In the last featured episode of being human (28th february) At the end of the show, it showed Herrick being respawned from someones blood. Meaning blood heals for vampires.
But, what i don't understand is that, in this show, when vampires die they turn to ash, and the vampire (forgot name) clearly said that the bones where here.
Greatly confused with the lore in the show now.

Mmmmm....? This has got my mind, Annie needed a door to pass through so a death must occur, right? Ok... so why is this? The spirit of the man in the wet suit who was "sent over" during the Spiritualist's show passed through a door without a death (he also died in a non- natural way) so how does that work? Is it only opened without a death if the spirit grants forgiveness in the same manner as the wet suit man spirit? Any ideas folks????

I had thought this but its something thats never really addressed. The door is both an offer and a demand, Most people who practice a form of " Spirit removal" give the impression they are doing it to put the deceased at rest however if it is the choice of the spirit to stay happily and without malice then it is not the living's buisness to force them onward but it tends to happen. Annie's complaint of being tired and willing to move on through Kemp when he came to the house echoed her dismay at no longer being flesh but her reluctance to then take the offer when it was forced through the death of the medium begs the question why? Is it just fear or not wanting to let go of all that she knows? now that she has been taken it will be interesting to see if and how she will return.

All of the actors do a wonderful job on the show which adds to the fantastic writing, effects, and all other manner of things that make Being Human such a hit apart from the three main characters does anyone else recognise Especially Kemp and Lucy from anything else?

It's time to give Annie's story more depth. It's as though Annie has become more of a joke. Where is the dark side of Annie. May be she should pass on and come back as an "Angel" ?

I think you've got your wish granted! Annie went a bit "Grudge" at the end of S2 Grabbing Kemp in a very twitchy speeded up angry kind of way!lol As for being an Angel, noooooo that'd be tacky.

I love Mitchell, he's my favorite of all of them, all three are a fab metaphor for how society reacts to difference but i find Mitchell the most appealing (not just on an attractive level! ) His brooding darkness is harshly pitted against his more jovial side almost like Bipolar, always wanting not just acceptance but understanding for something lost within himself and the end of a torment that he has no control over its actually very gut wrenching. The madness of being so removed from humanity, knowing your stigmatism prevents you from any hope of a life lived in any "normal" way is painful, all three have this problem of course but in very different ways. It was sad to see his rage rise up and take control again after his betrayal, but what fantastic work lol!

Reading the BBC novel Chasers I came across an interesting discussion on the subject of George's lifespan. George talks about how wolves live 10-20 years, so splitting the difference he might live 50 years. Or, he could live a normal human lifespan. Or he could be immortal, but he has no way of knowing yet. (Not enough time has passed from when he received the curse). I've always assumed he was immortal, it just made more sense for me in relation to his character. Another way the werewolf part of him bleed through into his "normal" human life. Than I realized it hadn't really been addressed in the series. What do you think?

"What do you think Season 2 will bring? Witches for one thing. Did you notice George's new girlfriends screensaver on her computer? Her daughter was dressed as a witch, and it's like she knows what George is, she said he had dog's breath! Character bombshells? There is more to Annie than we see, she is special somehow. Plot twists? Can the women George and Mitchell are sleeping with get pregnant? What happens if a werewolf scratches a vampire and he lives? Or vise versa?
Great show!!! Should be back on BBC America!" What happens if a werewolf scratches a vampire and he lives? Or vise versa? now thats a thinker... they become more powerfull than you could possibly imageine

I had to resort to downloading the episodes as they air.
I always feel guilty when I do this. Once the season is available to buy in boxset form, I'll purchase it to contribute back what I took.
I didn't do that for the first because I stumbled on the show by accident on BBCA and fell in love without realizing how far back we were airing it in august.

Oh man! what a hit in the face! so much happening all at once O.O
I do hope Nina and George work things out. George seemed to do a big 180, into an almost totally different person. Which isnt surprising after what had happened. Not suprised to see the CenSSA guy as a character on the show. I figured the videos he was in were a promo for the second season. I wish George didnt cheat on Nina, but i do see that he's losing his freaken mind. I hope they all work it out. I also think Ivan will be the new king :)
The "bens" scene with the werewolf dude was disturbing yet awesome! lol

I agree about George, his level of maturity all the sudden really shocked me.
I loved the first episode, especially the end when they were passing the tea around the community. Mitchell's listlessness throughout the episode finally stopped at the realization that he was once again accepted, and that everything would be alright again.
......To bad the realization came while the CenSSA guys were bugging the apartment.

Wow! I guess I'm in a minority here.
In the US, we weren't shown the original pilot, the first episode became our basis for the entire show so when I heard there was an original I had to see it. After watching Aidan and Lenora for the 6 episodes I fell in love with their quirky personalities and thought they were great. I didn't much care for the original Annie and I found Guy Flanagan to be quite the stereotypical 'broody vamp' type which I've seen so many times before.
I dunno.... I was a huge Buffy fan when that was around and I found the quirky storytelling of this to be very reminiscent of those days.
