My speculation for season 2 Nina finds out that she is a werewolf and becomes uncontrollable. George tries to help but because of Owen spilling the beans the police now knows where they are. Nina is eventually caught and killed by the police and George barely escapes with his life. Meanwhile Mitchell is dealing with the fact that he is an outcast by his own people and he will never have a normal life becomes depressed and goes into hiding. Annie realizes that her whole life with Owen was one big lie and she has decided to start over again by going out and looking for more individuals like her. George makes it back home only to find out that Mitchell is in hiding and he seeks him out and helps him through this depression state he's in. They join Annie and Mitchell meets a beautiful female vamp. She is even older that Mitchell, so she knows what he is going thru. George receives a letter from his mom begging him to come back home. She had received a tip from and unknown source where he was and she wants him to come back or she is going to come where he is to see how he is doing.
